Dr Cláudia Lemos

Dr. Cláudia Lemos is a Visiting Scholar from the Chamber of Deputies of Brazil, where she works in the Department of Communications and the Professional Master´s Program in Legislative Affairs.

Whilst at Leeds she will be working with Professor Cristina Leston-Bandeira on a research project about narratives in parliamentary engagement with citizens. She is especially interested in examining the use of  journalistic language, which is very common in Brazilian public institutions communication efforts, in comparison with other types of narratives.
