Dr Khemvirg Puente Martínez

Dr Khemvirg Puente is a Professor of Politics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he has previously served as Head of the Center for Political Studies and Director of the Graduate School of Political and Social Sciences. In 2024, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Centre for Democratic Politics (CDP) at the University of Leeds. His research focuses particularly on public engagement within Latin American legislatures and the role of parliaments in the context of autocratisation.
