Jonathan Dean | An Appreciation

Jonathan was dear to his colleagues in the School of Politics and International Studies (POLIS) at the University of Leeds, where he worked from 2010. He was instrumental in establishing the CDP (then as the Centre for Democratic Engagement) in 2017, and served as its Co-Director until 2022. We are collectively shocked and saddened to learn of his death. Our thoughts are very much with Maria, his young children and his mum.

We have come together to begin to pay tribute to him and what he brought to our community including in this shared appreciation.  His memory and legacy will remain with us.
