UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship Extension Granted

Viktoria Spaiser is delighted to have received a three year extension for her UKRI Future Leadership Fellowship, starting in October 2025. Viktoria has exciting plans for her extension, including exploring generative AI Agent Based Models to better understand complex social dynamics that can bring about climate solutions or can reinforce maladaptive responses to escalating climate change. She will also work with the Kirklees Council and Hopes for the Future to explore how we can engage marginalised communities in constructive local climate policy deliberation, motivated by envisioning shared futures and aided by a bespoke AI assistant.
